Here is my updated Cooler Master 690 II Advanced rig. I took out the h50 and installed a custom water cooled system. I also removed the gtx 260 that i was using for physx, because i don't really play any physx supported games besides metro 2033. I beat the game and realized i was just wasting power and space. It also improved airflow to my gtx 570.

The water cooling system keeps my i7 920 overclocked currently to 4.01 Ghz (Multiplier at 21 and Bclk at 191 or something) 36 - 40 degrees C at idle and 65 - 70 degrees C at full load for 30 min on prime 95. During gaming i see temps right around 60 C. I purchased all these components from Frozen CPU.com.

Here are the water cooling components...

Waterblock: EK supreme HF block - Nickel Acetal
Pump: Danger Den DP1200 800L/hr (211Gal/hr)
Reservoir: Bitwpower 5.25" drive bay reservoir (Black)
Radiator: Black Ice GT Stealth 240mm
Fittings: Bitspower compression fittings (3 45 degree)
Fluid: Feser One UV Red non conductive cooling fluid
Tubing: Tygon 1/2" ID x 3/4" OD clear tubing

  • Watercooling GPU ?

  • @Gamingsince1997 I am now but i have the HAF 932 Case and an rx360 radiator. Much quieter, roomier, and better temps than this cpu only loop.

  • you need to use high speed fans on that radiator with good static pressure, i have the same rad but using 2 scythe gentle typhoons 1850rpm and my temps are in 50s

on load.. also get some 120mm noise absorbers for in between the rad and the fans for a better seal.

  • @MarshMellowChronic Ya i realized that i need some higher speed fans but i have since gotten a HAF 932 full tower case and i am now using the RX360 radiator. These fans work well with this radiator and is much much more quiet. Thanks for the comment and i also was thinking about ordering some of the fans.

  • great job man, I have a haf 932 and it's great for airflow/water cooling, the 200mm fan in the front is awesome, 140mm exhaust, and a triple rad, combines water cooling with good amount of air being pushed through the case to keep ambient temps down. I was thinking about getting the 690 II Advanced so I could put run a dual 2x120mm rad WC loop inside for both cpu and gpu.

  • @unokilo321 I owned and 922 before this case and i loved it, airflow was great. I got this case because of the price and because i wanted to water cool the cpu. I just recently switched to the HAF 932 case though because i missed the great airflow, the price was very reasonable for a full tower, and i think the HAF cases look sick! Check out my new vid.

  • You sound stonned as fuck!

  • @coccoborg I think he's stoned.

  • @nicholas0788 Can you put like a dual 240 rad there one on the bottom and up on to plus another 120rad on the rear?

  • does it work whit all computer parts... like i have intel i7 2700k...? and

    Motherboard: Asus RAMPAGE-IV-EXTREME
