@DDpowerfunk What about other singers like Stephen Pearcy or Axel Rose?I love Ratt and for some reason Stephen Pearcy's voice is that great live.

I saw them live with motley crüe at the time i didnt care for them but they werent bad

just want to clarify something... singers like this guy who always sing on the edge of breaking their voice and that try to keep a "dirty" rasspy voice all the time tend to sound live a little bit untidy. that doesnt mean they are BAD...i think austin is a singer with a great and unique voice, but has a hard time sounding live as good as in studio.. hell even a monster both gifted and techical singer as chris cornell has had bad live performances!

I've seen 2 live shows, both were very good.
So in my opinion he has proved to be a good singer... But what if he has a bad cold? The show must go on!
