i don't know why people are always complaining about a diesel beating a gas sports car. face it diesel tech has gotten to the point where a diesel can beat any gas vehicle out there and look/smell good doing it. REAL CARS/TRUCKS DON'T NEED SPARKPLUGS

Diesel cycle is much more efficient, fuel has more energy, and the engine design is simple. As the proud owner of a cummins i6 I can only say the one thing that sucks about them is the fact that fuel costs are higher and this country won't get on board with algae bio diesel or let more diesels into the country. Our government is missing a great way to solve our energy crisis.

exactly. plus they are more environmentally friendly than those gassers. plus they're cooler to drive than a prius. i'm a proud owner of a 85 ford 6.9 IH diesel and wouldn't trade it for anything(except a first gen cummins)
