I remember when I made this stage waaay back when Stage textures were a new thing, everyone went nuts for it, regardless of how badly I'd made it, ah memories, I was so happy to see Androu fix it up too (he made the hills green)
I never really did make many stage textures after this

Nintendo just doesn't like seeing that hackers are better than them at making games... And it's also amusing to see them get mad at it :D.

this is how the stage SHOULD have been done. It's funny how much hackers have improved this game, and nintendo still tries to stop them.
