@Nugburner420 - Amphipods are VERY beneficial, they help biologically filter the water. To my knowledge, amphipods do not eat plants, they actually like to live and nest in them. If your plants are dying off, I think it's not because of the amphipods. I have problems keeping chaetomorph as well as calerpa (sp?), it could be a lighting issue or water quality.
man you should of named the title of the video amphipods in my refugium. i just came across the same situation and spent way to much time trying to find something similar. these are beneficial amphipod correct? do they kill live plants ? my plant isnt looking so healthy with these amphipods
