Recorded 1973 Thru 1982
Released On May 24th, 1993.
Written And Produced By Benny Andersson And Bjorn Ulvaeus.
"I Am The City" Was Recorded In May Of 1982 And Was Originally Made For Inclusion On What Would Have Been The Group's Ninth Studio Album. However, These Plans Were Abandoned By The Band Members, Instead Settling For A Double-Compilation Album Release Of Their Most Successful Singles, "The Singles: The First Ten Years".
As A Result Of This, "I Am The City" Would Remain Unreleased For Eleven Years Until It Was First Commercially Released On The "More Abba Gold" compilation CD In 1993.

B&B should have released this track as a single. I know it was mentioned for The Singles but why did they not release it we will never know

I think this would have played well had they released it back in 1982. It was one of those last minute decisions to make a best of album instead of a full blown album...one decision I would have second guessed. Thanks for watching.
