Coincidental (Workshop Excercise with Christoffer Boe)

This is an excercise made during a workshop by the brilliant Danish film director Christoffer Boe in Mexico City.
We were given a 3 page scene without any descriptions except dialogue, so we had to figure out the story. It was an improvised 4h30 shoot and 1 day editing. Because of these conditions the technical restrictions were obvious, so sound is crap and it was all shot handheld very quickly, so be gentle with the comments, plz.
We shot on a Panasonic 24P and edited on Final Cut. The Music is by Kronos Quartet.
The Mexican actors (Miguel Rodarte and Oliver Cantu) agreed to do the scene in English for the benefit of the workshop.

Enhorabuena a todos los que habéis hecho el corto. Está genial. Es una mezcla de Christoffer Boe (muchos primeros planos, uso de la música sin efectos dramáticos) y el concepto Dogma (cámara en mano y restricciones técnicas como indicas en el resumen).

Me encanta Christoffer Boe.
