@TheMrMarilyn i can understand your dislike of this version of the classic song (ooh child) done by the new birth, i dont know what your type of music is but if you like music by the stair steps then im sure you will love the music of the NEWBIRTH, they are truly among the greatest of all time(no kidding) and terribly underated

But mr marilyn...that young michael jackson is actually one of the lead female vocalists. Remember at this time young teens sung soul...this band were still in their teens when they recorded this album and song. I can't believe that even their hits like Been A Along Time, Impossible and Dream Merchant were sung by eighteen year olds.
