@Fureyn I hope you know that I live and Calgary and know for a fact that the chuckwagons have been part of the stampede for decades. Also, the same amount of horses die on farms or ranches everyday than have died in all the stampedes put together. I have been to 5 stampede rodeos, and every time they announce that the equipment they use to make the horses jump is comfortable and causes absolutely no pain.

a study done by the prca with actual animal doctors (vets) shows that the animals enjoy what they do. 75% of horse will leave the chute the other 25% r pry sour withc means there tired of doing that's just like football player not wanting to play foot ball. horse do brake necks but they joy doing what there doing in my intier life i have never seen a horse break its neck besides on the internet and i have been around rodeo all my life these horses r bred for what they do

i just think that if horses are going to die let them pass doing what they love.....you see if it was in steer wrestling i would understand because nobody wants to get wrestled to the ground but thats just my opinion and of course there are different ways that the horses tend to die from and i just think that they should at least try and find ways to make those particular hazards out of the way
