Levon's book did not really trash Robbie. Just said some obvious truths. 1. Liked only his name on any and all compositions the band put together. Obviously he wrote most, but some more had to be worked on by others in the band (who could have used the money). 2. The Band was retiring from the road only and were supposed to continue to record etc. Well, they did continue, but where was Robbie? Snorting coke with Scorcese and making bank off publishing royalties. So poor Robbie!

@samabbrakaddbra - how do you know Levon's books is bullshit? I don't care who you are, you're not Levon - I never thought the book trashed JRR that bad anyway - can't a guy have an opinion one way or the other - yeah - he can. The Band could never have been the Band without all of them period. To say a man's books is bullshit is bullshit - you just don't agree with ... that doesn't mean it's bullshit it means that it's one man's opinion that you don't agree with.

@BrawnYawr Robbie to this day talks about how amazing all the guys were. I don't get where these misconceptions came from. Levon's book is such bullshit. I am a music journalist and there is no basis for these stories that have been passed around. Robbie is a man of integrity. I have met all the Band members.

as much as i love robbie's music during his time with the band, i wish he could have appreciated these fellows a little more - they're really something special

Awesome... great to see Danko, Manuel on the drums, and Levon rocks as always. I wonder where the heck that video came from. Also wonder why the title... since it ain't the song? Anyway, thanks...rare Band vids always welcome!
