Republicans VS Democrats: Abortion Debate

Opening act of The George Washington University's annual freshman debate! The original debate was slightly over 15 minutes in length so it obviously had to be edited down to fit YouTube's length requirement of 10 minutes. However, every attempt was made to give equal time to both viewpoints.

@elgmalone An abortion is fine if the pregnancy is putting the mothers life at risk. I'm just against abortions that are only because the mother doesn't want to raise the child, or the worst one I've heard: 'I don't want to deal with those stretchmarks'.

I'm all for women's rights, but it should be a more important right for somebody to live. If the woman doesn't want the child, she can simply give the child up for adoption and if she's really so concerned with what pregnancy does to her body, she can have a nip tuck after the pregnancy to get rid of the stretch marks and belly fat. Or a better idea, use protection for prevention or better yet, don't have sex, period!

@me25422 Am I saying that all of them should be killed? No. Its the mother's choice. If the mother wanted it dead then let her. If she isn't ready, then she isn't, give her some time than rather let her take care of her child badly.
