Oregon DOT Motor Carrier staff conduct voluntary truck inspections in Eastern Oregon to help keep big rigs safe on the highways. Trucking companies in the area who brought their vehicles in for the free inspections held May 27-30 in Union and Wallowa counties said they appreciated the opportunity. "It keeps better equipment and safer trucks on the road," said Dan Webster of Dan Webster Trucking.
