I do not own any of the audio in this video

Not sure where to start with a description.. So, on Monday, I skipped school to go look at three horses in Illinois. The people who were showing us the horses actually take horses and try to sell them for peope. They do everything from hunters, to eventing. I showed them some pictures of Gracie, and they said they thought they would be able to sell her really quickly, since there are a lot of pony clubs in the area. I have had 0 luck selling her, and it seemed like the only smart thing to do. So, on thursday, we went back to Illinois this time with Gracie. (I actually didn't get to go because of school.) I liked one of their horses enough that I wanted to bring him on trial, so they rode Gracie, and jumped her bareback (the last time I did that, I got bucked off and drug across a pasture) but they said she was great, and they loved her. So, thats where Gracie is going to be until they are able to sell her. Its 2 and a half hours away, so I won't get to see her very often. We did end up bringing the other horse back, his name is Bear, and I really like him, but I'll tell you more in another video.

I'm fairly sure that if you follow my videos, you've seen tons of my Gracie videos. There isn't really anything to say that I haven't already said in them. I rode Gracie for nearly four years. When I first got on her, I was at a western pleasure barn, I was a terrible rider, and she was extremely green. Bolting, bucking, spooking, those things don't even describe it.. Did I mention I was terrible too? She was only eight then, and had been in somebody's backyard with no training. Since then, I leased her for a year, we did a complete season of western pleasure, I bought her, moved barns, switched disciplines, learned to jump, did our first season of eventing, and am now completely convinced that eventing is what I want to do forever. If it weren't for Gracie, I truly don't know where I would be. The first day I ever sat on Gracie, if you would have told me where we would be in four years, I would think you were a nutso. Gracie is truly an amazing pony, and I'm so glad that I could be with her for four years, but it would be selfish of me to keep her. She taught me so much, it wouldn't be fair to anyone to let her sit in a pasture for ten years while I'm with a different horse. If she can teach someone as much as she taught me, they don't know how lucky they are.
