Every day, about 4 children die from child abuse in the United States.
The shadow cast by child abuse lasts a life time. It creates a cycle of abuse because the environment and upbringing of a child so important to a child's future.
The mission of Alliance for Children is to unite communities together to combat child abuse by providing them child justice centers that coordinate the efforts of detectives and Child Protective Services investigators to protect the child victim. As a team they piece together what has happened and take steps to ensure that the child is not victimized again.
The best outcome for any child growing up is to reach maturity without the burden of experiencing child abuse. Alliance For Children offers a variety of educational programs that teach both children and adults how to recognize, resist, and report child abuse, whether it is occurring in the home, the community or on the Internet.

I'm glad people care about those who are in dire need and suffer from pains that they shouldn't. The AFC is a miracle group.

The facts about child abuse today are sad, but unfortunately true.
