EXITS COMPLETED IN THIS PART:

...nah, I'd rather elaborate a lot more on them.

78 / 96 exits completed so far.

Castle #1 - Iggy Koopa

Easy fight is easy. When the see-saw is facing towards the lava, hit him in that direction so he slides down the slope. Don't try to hit him uphill, that will not work. Once he's in the lava, you win! Just don't fail at it like me, and you'll be fine.

Error: IBBY KOOPA FOR THE WIN.

Castle #2 - Morton Koopa Jr.

Hit his head three (like all Nintendo bosses) times, and you win. You can hit him twice or thrice before he climbs up on the wall (and then ceiling) if you are fast. If he does get on the ceiling, wait on the right until he is falling, run to the left and jump (to avoid the stun from when he hits the ground), and hit his head. Not a hard fight, but can be annoying on the third phase when he goes a bit faster.

Error: THE ERROR IS A LIE.

Castle #3 - Lemmy Koopa

Hit his head three times when he comes out of the pipes. Avoid the fakes, avoid the fireball. It's a fairly straightfoward fight, but can get annoying if he pops up on the other side of the screen and the fireball kills you or takes away your Big Mario powers. I suggest to avoid the fireball as your main priority, and wait for Lemmy to spawn close to you.

Error: MORTON HAS TRIUMPHED OVER LEMMY, GUYS!

Castle #4 - Ludwig von Koopa

He shoots out four fireballs. You should hit his head during this time. Then, he'll spin around. Then, he'll jump up, land (does not cause stunning), and shoot more fireballs. It's an easy fight, and you can most likely spin jump off of the fireballs. It's the most creative of the seven fights (since the other six all share a similar fight with another Koopa), but it isn't really that difficult.

Error: HIS LAVA IS FUNNY TO ANOID, GUYS. SCREW USING THE WORD "AVOID", V'S ARE FOR SQUARES!

Castle #5 - Roy Koopa

Repeat of Morton's fight. The fact that the walls close on you doesn't change much. In fact, that only thing it changes is that it is harder to hit him all three times before he gets on the wall. Hilariously easy. If you thought Morton's fight was a joke, this is the same thing, three Castles (and thus Worlds) later.

Error: THE ERROR IN THIS PART WAS PRETTY EVENTUALLY, BUT I'LL (STUPID) GET OVER IT!

Castle #6 - Wendy O. Koopa

Repeat of Lemmy's fight, except there are two fireballs, and it's a completely flat terrain. It's easier, since the fireballs have a notable pattern that they are attracted to the middle pipe, making them fairly easy to avoid. Same tips as Lemmy's fight, really.

Error: I'M NOT BLACK, EVEN THOUGH KURAI MEANS DARK IN JAPANESE.

Error: BLACK IS NOT THE SAME THING AS DARK.

Castle #7 - Larry Koopa

Repeat of Iggy's fight. It's really the same, since the three fireballs don't affect the fight all too much. Same tips as Iggy's fight, except you have to be a bit more careful.

Error: PINCESS TOADSTOOL, WE MUST SAVE HER! SHE'S A CESSPOOL OF PINS!

Fireball Glitch: Effective Against Morton Koopa Jr., Ludwig von Koopa, Roy Koopa

If you can somehow get to the boss door of those three bosses with a Fire Flower (either in stock or with you, but you need to have it "equipped", so do that now), there is an exploitable "glitch" that you can use. Each fireball you throw counts as a hit against a boss. For Iggy and Larry, "hits" don't matter. For Lemmy and Wendy, you can only hit them once per pipe-opening. But for these three, you can shoot out two fireballs to give them two hits, and jump on their head once. This effectively reduces the battle time a lot, and makes it a lot easier to beat these bosses if you are having trouble. The tough part is getting a Fire Flower to the boss door, since you need to enter as Fire Mario, and get there without taking a hit. Nintendo knew about this "glitch", which is why they put a Green Switch Palace block (Cape) near a Boss door, so it wasn't as easily exploitable. It's still something to note, however.

1981 was the release date of Donkey Kong, where Mario (Jumpman) was first shown, and 1990 is the date of the Japanese release date for Super Mario World. Will Bowser crush Mario into a pulp? Or will Mario succeed and have more games in the series, like a gravity platformer and a multiplayer game? You'll have to wait and see!

Again, we have 18 more exits to cover, so we'll do that next time on Let's Play Super Mario World.
