  • Time travel... hmm, If that plane went through that black cloud with all that energy and it did go back in time, The earth would not even be in the same location in the galaxy, so that would put that plane in the middle of space, in which the cloud would be gone, and the plane wouldn't come back

  • @thedude6to6 now you are thinking! Which is why time travel has to be approached properly in SciFi... for instance in Doctor Who, the Doctor's TARDIS (Time and Relative Dimensions In Space) accounts for space and time coordinates. Time rifts may exist, but would be far more dangerous than a time machine...

  • Romanphilosopher, you look like a smiling ego.

  • i think ego comes from the latin word for "i". So yeah... pretty much.

  • are you trying to insinuate that Dr Michio Kaku is somehow dodgy or a scammer? He's one of the most accomplished scientists of our time.

  • Holly fuckin shit! I had no idea he had those kind of credentials!

  • @thedude6to6 Or maybe the cloud send the plane to a time and spot, the spot where that black cloud was in the past as well.

  • @nbsbb2009 Never Guess.They. Never Guess. We predict You know what science is? When we predict about an idea, we say "which one has more evidence towards it?" If string theory has more evidence that it is real, then we say, "this is what we think is real." It's a good way to teach science. We're not teaching random shit we thought of two seconds ago that we think it's real, we're teaching things that shows more evidence towards it. Common sense.

Religion: No fucking evidence it really exists.

  • @Juefawn hopefully

  • @therhythmicmenace War isn't necessary freedom sometimes, unless we make it that way.

  • Bullshit ,these science starting to look like religion, all guessing.

  • As much respect as I have for Dr. Kaku I have to say this: homeboy looks like yoda.

  • @thedude6to6 I just have to chuckle when someone tries to rationalize spatial coordinates across time. And use galactic inertial frame as an argument. As if the earth's inertial frame suddenly ceases to be relevant. If a closed time like curve could exist near the planet's surface and inertial frame matters. The local inertial frame (earth) could easily continue across the "length" of the phenomena. Or just throw the whole space/time coordinate theory out the window and end up anywhere.
