I remember the shirt Davis is wearing. I saw the show in L.A. 52x and Davis' Phantom I saw the most. The stagedoor scene brings back many fond memories. I'm still in touch with one member from the L.A. cast and consider him a good friend. Davis gave me a huge Phantom poster as a college graduation present and surprised me with it at the door one night. This brings back memories of that wonderful night. THANKS for sharing!

Thank you for posting this series of videos. This was the first cast I ever saw of Phantom back in '91 when I was living in L.A.. I was 11 yrs old and have been obsessed ever since. :)

My first time seeing the phantom of the opera after listening to the soundtrack for almost two years was this very production in LA with all of the actors featured in this behind the scenes program. Because of that, Davis Gaines and the LA cast will always be special to me.

Haha, that backstage portion brings back so many memories. Davis is probably the nicest, most humble performer I've ever met. He talked to my sister and I as if he had known us all our lives and was just so warm and friendly to everyone. I think I have a pic of him that I took where he's wearing the exact same shirt he's wearing here, hehe! The video is blurry and I can't quite tell for certain but the shirt in my photo is blue and has little cows all over it.
