God not the "were they Nazis?" thing AGAIN? The actual quote is "You all forgot Rudolph Hess" and it was said by Sumner. We had all forgotten Rudolph Hess. He was rotting in a faraway forgotten jail an unseen, lost icon of man's atrocity. Think about this for a millisecond. Why did Joy Division adopt the name? To shock ? Hardly. It was only remotely shocking if you knew what the name meant... and very few people did. It was to express sympahty with The Forgotten vVctims of The Nazi Evil.

Actually i regret backing u, u haven't got a clue. Just because a film came out gives you the excuse to be a know it all and tell people they like Joy Division just cos of the movie_ fuck you people can like their music regardless of whether a film came out or not. You don't have to be an expert to like them you fucking knob! And actually people like YOU are the ones making music exclusive to a bunch of small minded wankers who think they know everything. Fuck you.
