ye it does. the senecas and the twin stars (the biggest of the cpl/atpl training aircraft there) all manage to take off before the end of the tarmac. even if they cant, the tarmac extends as a grass r/way for quite a bit longer so there isnt any probs with TORA/ASDA. altho its quite narrow, the size of the planes means that you dont need a wide strip as no jets are allowed anyway. the biggest aircraft thats there is a kingair belonging to london exec. a/l and that has no prob gettin airborne :)

Doesnt stapleford flight centre have training for pilots who want to become airline pilots ?
The runway looks rathers small and not very wide, i thought it would have been bigger seing as this sort of training is taken place here.
