David's Farm Help!!!!! 1993 Chevy Astro Van 4.3L V6

Ok David here is the video.

The engine idles alright a little rough but when I give it gas it acts normal revs fine and all, but when I put inito gear it starts running rough then when I push the gas it barely moves then when I give it more gas while in gear I starts backfiring out the top of the throttle body and you can see flames in this video it acually dies at the same time it backfires.

So are I have gotten gas out of the car let it sit in a jar for a little bit to make sure no water was present there was no water present in the fuel

I replaced the fuel filter

I have hooked a timing light to each spark plug wire to ensure they were all sparking and they were

I tested all the fuses no blown fuses

I unhoooked the MAP sensor to see if there would be any difference in how the engine ran. It ran pretty much the same, but backfiring was not as present with MAP sensor unhooked.

Unhoooked the battery for about 30 minutes to clear computer codes and reset computer. That had no effect on how it ran.

I jumpered the computer to recieve codes. The codes listed here:

33 MAP sensor
34 Vacuum sensor or MAP Sensor
43 Electronic spark control unit

I believe that codes 33 & 34 were set when I unplugged the MAP Sensor earlier.

fuel injectors are bad if u gas it then its fucked becuase of the coil or fucked up exhuast valves

I had the same problem its the (ICM) Idol control model its under the distributor cap

the astro van has jumped time chain needs replaced as for the s10 n the post chevy has the security system on them and when they go bad the security system will not let the car fire or get fuel it shuts this stuff down so no one can steal your car !
