Does anyone read the description?

I just wanted to try to get something up to let you guys know that I've been desperately trying to let you know that I'm still here, but my desktop computer isn't and I haven't been able to upload video to Youtube or Facebook properly or I would give you a tour of my new house. That was the big news I was going on about in my last video. It could be the new antivirus program, !@#$%^&* Vista, or the house's phone line could have faulty data wiring, but downloads are fine. It's just uploading that seems to be at a rediculously slow rate so that videos (yes, even ones saved to the computer and uploaded later) don't get there before the connection times out. At least I can upload photos to Flickr and Facebook!

UPDATE: In the next video, toilet paper research, and I finally found out what the upload problem really was...

Seems like a virus. Because normally you have one wire and your data goes up and down thru it, both would be slow, not only upload.

You can check if Windows is the problem, by using an alternative operating system like Linux Mint.

If up- and download works well with Linux Mint, then you have a problem with Windows. Else, you have a problem with your internet connection (modem/router/wires).

I found the problem was in AVG's antivirus program! I shut off a part of one of its functions and the problem went away. I tried Linux Mint and it was good, but am now using Ubuntu. Vista was the precipitating factor that caused me to switch.
