Classic Game Room HD - COSMIC ARK for Atari 2600 review

Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of COSMIC ARK for the Atari 2600 video computer system VCS. This unique sequel to the video game Atlantis puts you in charge of the Cosmic Ark, which is a lot like the Battlestar Galactica. The sun of Alpha Ro is fading fast (so says the instruction manual) and the Cosmic Ark (like Noah's Ark with a force field and thrusters) races to save creatures from doomed planets in that solar system. Work fast of these defenseless little beasties will disappear for all time!!! This old school classic retro arcade style hit on the Atari is an amazing game and worth buying if you see it. Produced by Imagic this one is a cartridge worth collecting and keeping. They should remake it into a new game for the Playstation 3 PS3, Xbox 360 or Wii.

Cool game but not one i would consider better than Atlantis- not sure why anyone would. Typically polished Imagic title though and well worth getting

I'm going to wax nerdy here for a moment, and answer your question about Ensign Ro. Because that's how I roll. ;)

Apparently, the actress who played Ensign Ro was approached to have her character become a regular on Deep Space Nine... but she declined the offer, so the writers came up with Major Kira Nerys instead.

So basically, the writers for Star Trek WANTED Ensign Ro to come back... but Ensign Ro said Ensign NO! ;)
