watching some one like joey, makes mere mortals like me and you realise just how crap we actually are on a bike ??? ok we can all get our knee down , but to do it week in week out year in year out on a course like the tt is ??? well fucking awesome!!! rip joey you are the man !!!!!!!!

@podsynergy was it not 2000? i went to that Isle of Man race, thats when he was on the red vimto SP1, before that it was the purple SP1, and it was using the stock SP1 engine. Did honda not supply him with colin edwards SP1 World Super Bike engine?

@podsynergy It's 2000. Joey's on the RC51/VTR1000 which Honda produced from 2000-2006. Joey ran the RC45 in 1999.

Its all a matter of probabily, the more you race - espicially win, the more you are pushing yourself and the bike to the limit. Its unfortunate but people do it b/c they love it. There are always consequences. ;/ r.i.p.
