A few things.
1 Cohiba that come in a glass box are fake. No Habanos cigar comes in a glass top box.
2 The lenght of the ash determines the quaility of the cigar, not the color. Anything you light will turn grey color.
3 Learn to light a cigar. You need to first char the end, then star to puff. Make sure you roll the cigar between your pointer and thumb. This will get an even burn.
4 stop trying to get the longest cigar, just to look cool. They do make many other sizes.

It is always good to cut the cap before smoking silly.

Gibby looks like the type of guy who buys em on da beach. A Cigar Cohiba of that size would run $80 plus in the stores in Canada Each.
Watch out for fakes my friends

Learn how t smoke a cigar... If you're gonna spend $20+ on a cigar, then you really need to know what to do with it when you get it...
first off, cut the cap off... next, learn how to light the damn thing the correct way... i'm only 18, yet i still know the proper way to have a cigar...
we really should get together and smoke some... i'd show u the proper way to do a cigar justice...

Sorry for all the flack you've received over these cigars, I know you just want to enjoy them. To correct Simon19911, they dont smoke cooler the longer they are, they do so with a larger ring gauge. However, bigger is not always better. Until cubans were Americanized, you did not see them very long or very large; they prefer shorter and smaller cigars. Smoke what you enjoy, enjoy what you smoke, and check out some cigar boards online; you'll find some great cigars and save some money.

Tight roll = poor draw which probably means they are not the real deal. Esplendidos cost 19.75 CUC (Cuban Convertible Pesos) each so unless Gibby paid just under $500 for the box in Cuba they can't possibly be authentic.
i bought them in Havana.
