@natman810 For a while the 70s CVCCs were worth more used than new. Great little car for its day.

An upright 4/4 contrabass with a solid wood carved top and plywood, AKA laminate back and sides is called a "Boston Composite Bass". This is a "Detroit Composite Bass" ; ) Pressed stamped metal everything except the neck. I love the sound it makes. It reminds me of an old photo of grandma, my mom aunt and mom's cousins called "The North Denver Chamber Music Society" with a guitar wash tub bass, wash board, and banjo. Fun family! My Uncle and Aunt owned Klesi Music.
