I wish this footage and audio were better, because this night in Huntington Beach was one of the best musical nights of my life. So glad to get (even a fuzzy) re-glimpse of the "magic" that went down that night. I think Kerry told me it was like their second gig or something...

Also saw AD and spoke with Kerry. In the early 1980s, his guitar playing was at its peak. Just saw him in the new Kansas DVD, but, he seemed stiff inhis playing, not fluid as he is here.

Had the opportunity to see AD at the Night of Joy many years ago. Artistry at it's finest. I miss them, but glad that Kerry's work continues through Proto-Kaw.
