Dump the current healthcare bill 2 of 2

Bill Moyers discusses the current healthcare bill with Dr. Marcia Angell who thinks this bill is a gift to the private insurance industry that will limit healthcare options and raise costs for the average American. In addition, Obama has previously stated that a healthcare panel will evaluate and remove up to 300 Billion dollars worth of medical services currently provided to seniors by Medicare. That money will be used to supplement medical payments made by private for-profit insurance companies to low income citizens who will not be required to buy mandatory healthcare insurance.

Eventually NH's first primary status is going to be lost to another state, or a group of states.

I think that will be beneficial to democracy.

Sure the 1st primary is a boost for the NH economy every 4 years and it's cool to see your town on the cover of the NY Times, but the whole primary system is a joke.

I'd like to see all the states go at the same time.

The media drags elections on for years (literally), and justify that by saying "this is the most important election ever!!!"

I'm in California and here it's, just one method of controlling the vote.

Perhaps NH will get control over her election fraud; I sure hope so as it's used by the media. This applies to CAL as well; we need more exit polls and a solid method of recounting when they spot light our frauds.

So if you're in NH you can be an independent and vote in the primaries. Whoever told you that you can't is wrong.

Other states have different rules, but in NH anyone (including independents) can vote for candidates from either party. I know cuz I have done it!

Being independent isn't a mistake. I've been and independent for the last 6 years or so.

In NH independents can actually vote in democrat or republican primary if they want. You choose which party you want to vote for (but you can't choose both), and then vote for the candidates you like from that party. When you're done voting you fill out a form to change your party affiliation back to independent.

It takes about 2 minutes.

It's a tough lesson, but don't make the mistake I did and switch to independent.

The primaries are the most important election and I stupidly eliminated myself from selecting my choice for the later election. DUH! What an idiot!

Also, when I started watching the math, on Ron Paul, in general, and new Hampshire in detail, it reminded me of the "magic bullet" theory on the JFK assassination.

"Passing this bill just delays the inevitable." Angell makes a cogent argument for why health care reform is inevitable EVEN if Obamacare is not passed. Obama himself has recently made comments showing his disdain for single-payer saying that it shouldn't be left up to the "government bureucrats" and using Republicn scare tactics that "Medicare will insolvent in just a few years" so it makes sense to gut it now to get his healthcare reform passed!

I will not make the mistake of voting for Obama again. Democravens are just as bad as the republicans.
