nah man some ppl say immigration of ethnic Han chinese to tibet is orchestrated "cultrual genocide" but in reality its just a tiiiny proportion of Hans (though large by tibetan standards) moving to a place with a harsh, "frontier" climate and vibe.
china is improving, but the danger is that the ccp retains power due to moderate appeasement. in that case, true freedom for all ethnicities of china and surrounds wont be achieved hey.

The chinese communist party has been looting, torturing, killing and doing all sorts of other nasty stuff in Tibet since the invasion of independent Tibet 60 years ago. Hundreds of thousands of Tibetans have been killed.
All of those bad things, plus cultural genocide, forced sterilisation (without anaesthetic), crazy prison sentences, land confiscation, and forced resettlements are still happening today in Tibet.

"millions ..died...death camps...starvation..."
Well, seems you are still living in 1950s or 1960s. Come one...it is 2008 already. Wake up and return to real world...

We can not let go.
For the millions who died of starvation because of communism.
For the millions of people who died in death camps, due to "illumminated" decision of comunist dictators, who believed in a new man.
For all who are yet to suffer, because communism hinders human most important value: inteligence.

In 1959, Dalai had a military army significantly outnumbered CCP troops in Tibet. They were equipped and funded by Americans, Britishs, and Indians. But they were still easily defeated.
So, from CCP's view, exiled Tibetan are actually much weaker than in 1959. So, what make them feel CCP will give something that they could not get in 1959?
