Do not clean Plexi glass or Acrylic with alcohol.

Alcohol will cause cracks and fissures in acrylic. Do not use it for cleaning. I learned a good lesson when I cleaned my round aquarium with it. A nice flood in my living room ! :(

@m3harri it's the alcohol, I used 99.9% Alcohol in this video. I think the alcohol seeps in the micro fissures, evaporates and cause more cracks...till the hole thing breaks.

@sdgsdf45 I think its fine to use Plexiglas, I am actually preparing to make another one in the shape of a triangle. Two sides and the bottom would be made of wood covered with a liner (cover for the wood) and the front would be a slightly curved 4'x2' sheet of Plexiglas.

They should place warnings on Acrylic products.... just learned this the hard way with some mystery cracks that showed up in these LED lens.... last time I ever use a solvent on a surface without checking a chemical compatibility chart.

Nice to know after cleaning my performance LED tail lights today, the entire tail lights started making cracking sounds and shattered in to pieces:( I used 90% alcohol solution from the drug store. I don't think many people know this but I've learned something today about plastics from this video, thanks for posting it up.
