Several indium alloys exhibit the ability to wet to ceramic, such as glass, at room temperature. This is very valuable when attaching electrical contacts to ceramics - especially when heat input may damage the ceramic or its coating(s).

  • Printing through a screen the way you would grease or solder paste would be difficult due to the high surface tension of the liquid metals. Imagine "printing" mercury. The activity would be similar. There are ways to deposit the liquid metal as a coating. E-mail me to find our more: ahartnett@indium.com

  • Can this be printed onto glass?

  • 1 person can wet glass.

  • Indium

  • T1000

  • The metal dries.

Pricing is highly variable, depending on alloy, packaging, quantity, etc.

Email to AskUs@indium.com to discuss your application. THANKS!

  • hi, the deployed metal dries up? or remains liquid? how much it costs? thanks
