The Night Liza Collapsed On Stage

Liza Minnelli passed out while performing in Sweden last week.

The legendary entertainer, 61, was rushed back to the United States for medical treatment and is said to be doing better.

i never knew swedes were so rude with all the talking during the show, collapsing was her only excuse to get off this stage as she surely had no excuse to be on that night

Reminds me of one of Elivis' performances toward the end of his life. Where are her friends - no one to help - all alone just like Elvis was.

Considering how much alcohol is running through her system it's an amazing performance. She actually retains the lyrics, presents them and carries a tune, more than most of us can do sober.  Just goes to show you what a natural performer she is - she's got "it" at the core of her being.

You are not defined by your worst performance...you are defined by your best. Liza can do whatever she wants and she will always have achieved greatness. I saw her perform many times over the years. When she was in her 30s and dancing...there was nothing like it...NOTHING! She was beyond anything I had ever seen on stage. For me, she will always be that gal who did the high kick in the air up onto a male dancer's shoulder, then pulled across the stage in that split...while singing. Awesome

Concerning the post, I think it's horrible. Needs to be edited down, but even then, the so-called footage is hard to watch, and you really can't see or hear what is going on (not really, anyway.) Now... Knowing just a little bit about Judy Garland and Liza Minneli... one can't but feel sad about the entire situation. Regardless as to why she 'passed out'... Liza needs to set the microphone down and just go enjoy the rest of her life.
