This is footage taken by a CopWatch volunteer/organizer on February 18, 2009. The stop seemed relatively normal for a sting operation at the park and all but one of the officers on the scene showed little interest in the fact that they were being observed and recorded by members of the public. They were all doing their jobs, maintaining their daily self-control like normal people do on the job. One officer is a consistent exception to this rule.

J.T. Tinnin is shown in these clips to be the only one officer who seems unable to keep his attention on his job and maintain his self-control while being observed by members of the public. This fits with a consistent pattern of self-control lacking, immature behavior by officer Tinnin over the course of several years. This lack of self-control is a warning sign that this is an officer prone to unnecessary force and abuse of his authority acting in the capacity of a public servant. This is an officer who could give the whole department a bruise in public relations and cost the City of Denver thousands in lawsuits. The City has been sued over his misconduct in the past, and we have tons of footage of this officer's behavior, thus we know the Feb. 18 footage fits a pattern of ongoing unprofessional behavior and misconduct.

This officer's career with DPD should be reviewed if the City of Denver is at all committed to public safety and security.

This CopWatch volunteer/organizer also has a Youtube channel (pazyamor07) and you can watch unedited clips of this footage at that Youtube channel.

Thank you

  • @pumperman26 and how long have you been with the police dept?

  • @commonsenseisgone1 and how long have you been with the police dept?

  • i like copwatch. this isnt what i expected to see though.

  • the people of CopWatch are more of a American than SOME of the cops out there..hippy or not.. i would rather be a hippy than a cop, because it will be easyer for a hippy to get in to heaven than it would be for a cop....peace and love..lol!

  • Copwatch continues to look like fucking dipshits!

  • @D3X1M3R yeah go videotape the public display of trash and let the hidden display of trash (shitty abusive cops) off the hook

  • @pumperman26 "They dont mess with people who dont deserve it"

    LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!

  • Denver CrotchWatch is full of hippy, wannabe Rodney King videographers. Yes, DPD has a few bad seeds, like any employer. I'll bet that when this rooster isn't "volunteering" his valuable time, and perhaps actually works a legit job, he's right there on the top of his employers poop list, and someone else is watching him via closed circuit television. What a granola! Go videotape the homeless that add to the public display of trash and alcoholism.

  • your wasting ur life for what?

  • ok i understand that you have the right to observe, but don't you think you got them pissed off at you?you constantly saying "the right to observe" its a bit stupid in my opinion. sure photographers can shoot photos and video tape out in the public, but really now.i'm sure you could have done it more tactfully, no?
