@TheBSideDJ And in a good planted tank you have to add co2, a lot of plants cant live without it being added, find the good "even" between the two and it works out great.

so ? Some facts :
1) plants don't need that much C02 at all.. water changes and some iron is often enough. Fish produce CO2, and plants at night produce CO2 as well, wich can be consumed by the same plants during the day.
2) fish are less healthy with higher CO2 concentrations in water ; it even can cause CO2 intoxication.

@asalamalecom i recomend to you no put The CO2 under the intake sometimes the gas inside the canister filter can remove the water inside and the filter run dry and burn it

@asalamalecom the bubbles can cause problems with your filter impeller and motor, i would just stick in under your return line and it will do a pretty good job.

No offense but the plants are covered in algae and look unhealthy. I know it this is old, hopefully they are still alive.

Hey dude if I put my diy co2 ceramic diffuser under my fluval 205 intake pipe will all the co2 get into the water??

Traaaf
co2 is 100 percent dissolved in that water bottle and the sponge keeps the bubbles from escaping...co2 eventually leaves with the output water mixing the whole tank with co2...atleast i think thats how it works :P
