One Minute RESCAP/PaViDIA 62: チンサリへの旅 雨模様

ザンビア北部州のチンサリ郡で、PaViDIA(孤立地域参加型村落開発)が本格的に開始されました。そのチンサリ郡への現地視察調査の記録です。現地にいくまでにタンザ­ン鉄道や川に阻まれ、また村では突然の大雨に阻まれ、いろいろありましたが、村々が米や豆の生産を始めていました。映像では米の生産プロジェクトの様子がみることができま­す。また現地NGOとの連携を通じて、生産後のマーケティングを強化しています。村に住む子供たちの明るい未来のために、村人と政府とそして日本ができることをがんばって­いきたい。それが農村振興能力(RESCAP)プロジェクトの願いです。活動の詳しいことについては、www.pavidia.org.zm　をご覧ください。

A video of a trip to Chinsali District, Northern Province of Zambia where a rural development support program named PaViDIA : Participatory Village Development In isolated Area has been conducted. This video clip shows a field of rice growing under the project which is conducted by rural villagers under PaViDIA. The marketing of the produced rice is supported with a strong link with a local NGO, COMACO which purchase the product and sale to the market. This is a part of activities of RESCAP (Rural Extension Service Capacity Advancement Project), which is implemented by Ministry of Agriculture of Zambia, supported by JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency).
