Oblivion tips to duplicate items, and to kill the yellow team in the arena!

Note: If you have the Unofficial Oblivion Patch installed, the duplicate glith might not work, also there has been an update for xbox 360 (maybe PS3 too) which fixes the glitch (Thx to Patrick1237)


To get the Umbra Ebony armour and blade, you will have to kill Umbra. She can be found in Vindasel, south-west of the Imperial City Waterfront near the bridge. Umbra is one of the strongest and fastest person in the game, so if you aren't a very skilled fighter, you might wan't to be strategic instead. Since she does not intiate to attack, you can jump onto one of those destroyed columns, by placing a basket beneath it on the table, and jump onto its ledge. Then you can simply stand onto it, and shoot her with your arrow or using magic.

It is heavy, but you can use TES construction set to set it to light if you wish :)

She is not a part of any quest, but the sword is a part of the Clavicus Vile quest (a shrine), who wants you to bring you the Umbra sword. Alternately, you can choose to keep it as a reward, since its quite powerful.

@Elvemaxed [continued] which is easily marked by a small red hand icon in the corner, this will be removed from the item if you sell it to a fence and buy the item back. (thieves guild provides fences for you, you can persuade the beggars to tell you how to join)

Example:

75 Health Potions, 100 Scrolls of Open Very Easy Lock

when you drop the potions, it will say you have 50 left, that is because it dropped 100, but when your potions hit 0, it looped back to it's last valid number in memory [75 in this case] and continued, but count the stacks, one is 75, one is 25, this = the number of scrolls you have. also, you can skip the closing the menu step to speed things up if you want, but be weary, large numbers and small objects crash games.

3. acquire your NON-STOLEN item (or sell to fence and buy back) to dupe.

4. Open your Item menu and go to your duping Scrolls (it's under the Misc. [far right] page mixed with the books)

5. Hit A button [Cross for PS users] 2, i repeat TWO times

6. go to the item to dupe, and hit the button to drop it [360: X Button, PS: Square...i think]

7. Close your menu, the total stack number DROPPED will add up to your scroll total for the scroll you picked.

this trick is still valid if you are using scrolls, but only on the consoles!

(PC can use the console [~] command Player.CreateFullActorCopy, then pick the copy for the Kill command, then loot it, then pick the copy and use DeleteFullActorCopy)

1. get 2 or more scrolls

2. get a different scroll (this allows you to dupe as many as you wish of any item, don't make huge jumps! like making 50 keys, bad idea, unless your stack is already at 25, then it will just make 2 keys that are in stacks of 25)
