@Omicronmu89 Thank you :) do you play for an orchestra or any bands?

@Sanstout You're probably right. Nervousness (especially if you're one of those people who gets sweaty hands and has shakes) could definitely affect your playing. Again, it's also a difficult piece to play. She'd probably be astounding if she practiced more and gained a little more experience playing in front of large crowds. Anyway good luck with your orchestra. Despite my criticism, it does seem like a promising group :)

@Omicronmu89 idk, I think it was at par...then again I think her nervousness got to her considering all the outliers to the concert (no excuse, but you know how that can get). Regardless, our orchestra is much better this year and I look forward to recording the next few concerts =)

@Sanstout I'm not saying she's a bad player in general. This definitely isn't the easiest piece, but the quality of the the performance- her performance- was subpar in my opinion. I've played cello for less than a year. I've been playing violin for about 12 years and viola for 5.

@Omicronmu89 She was decent in my opinion; are you a cellist? We had two/three better cellists at the time, but we have so many concerts that we like to rotate the first row (top 4).

She's not very good. They couldn't find a better cellist in the orchestra? :\

Mandou bala Rominao!

Bravo, Maestro Ivan del Prado. Bravo, Orchestra!
I think she's worrying too much about intonation. As soon as the concerto gets moving, there's no time to worry, and her playing improves as it goes along.

@Caffeinefish This is true; she was soooo stressed about this performance because we had Brussilovsky performing and a lot of recruiters that night.
