@simon57601 Paul Carrick..who wasn't actually ever a member of the band sang the song on the albulm by accedent. He was warming up in the studio before the session and Difford and Tillbrook heard it and asked him to sing it.. the rest is history. This is actually how I think the song would have sounded if Carrick didn't sing it.. more like squeeze used to sound like...very cool

@TheBrassHole Although Paul Carrick sang the original version, he was part of Squeeze at the time and as Difford and Tillbrokk wrote the song, they are more than entitled to play it at a Squeeze gig
