Masterpiece from Bimalda.
S D Burman, Nutan and Ashok Kumar have contributed to its richness in their respective field. One should not forget the rare rendition "O Janewale" by Mukesh a rare appearance in S D Burman composition.

be'cos Bimal made " Do bhiga Zameen" in culcutta by using bombay talkes movie "parineeta"s crew .

Sachinda used Mukesh's voice very rarely and two of those very few compositions are simply outstanding, viz. his song from 'Bandini' and 'Chal ri sajni' from 'Bombai ka Babu'. Dada used Mukesh's voice for Dilip Kumar in 'Shabnam' and the music, like the film, turned out to be a hit. Dada has also used him for Dev Anand in 'Vidya' for 'Bahe na kabhi nain se neer', and in a few other films like 'Vidya' with Manoj Kumar and later in a duet in 'Chupke Chupke'.
