A short clip of John & Ringo in the crowd as Dylan performs at the Isle of Wight festival 31 August 1969. George Harrison also attended but only can be seen for a moment, and only part of his face.

Chapman followed Lennon as he walked towards the gate. The gun felt like a woman in his hand and he caressed it, gentle at first, but slowly he began to squeeze the grip with ferocity. He began to breathe heavily and walked up behind John. Chapman called after Lennon, "Mr. Lennon." @MikeWebbsDead I think you mean Vladimir Lenin, but I think he died of a stroke, and I would not call him a hippie, I don't think the 1920's had hippies. He was a communist though.
