@lfc1903 that could be it. Everything still running smooth...but I noticed that having installed A LOT of apps (Hey..I have 32 gig now..why not install 50% of marketplace? :) it takes longer to install or update an app. It kinda waits at 50% some time before actually installing or updating. (I know that from the full install process the first 50% is the download part..and the last 50% is the actuall install process)

Does it also work with 32 Gb?

@lfc1903 Runs perfect! Absolutely smooth ;)
I think all the well known brands (kingston, sandisk, transcend) class4 cards will work with wp7 mango.

Thanks for the awesome video. Was thinking about sticking a 32 gig chip in, will definitely be doing it after seeing how easy it is.

@kamojamo Yep, got windows mobile 7.5 update on now.. still very fast, and smooth.
My HTC Trophy says I've got 14 GB. Does that include 8 on the phone and 8 on the card? I'm planning on changing the screen in another trophy and thought about doing this, but if it doesn't boost the memory it would just be a waste of time.

@kayakinboy No it's not like a normal phone that has 8gb built in and an extra Sd card.. the SD card you replace is the phone memory.. So 16GB when formatted gives under 15GB and the phone uses about 1GB so your left with about about 14GB.

Running perfect! Feels like it's even a bit faster but that's probably a placebo effect :]
I use this card: 32 GB MicroSD Card SDHC Class 4 Transcend
Thank again for your detailed tutorial..it made me decide to give it a shot.

@SjuuTuub Some say the newer SD cards have better read and write times thus better performance.
