  • Hola Amigo's !

Its me Joseph, The guy in the video ;)

    That was a 1.5 hp. I "mis-spoke" in the video :)

Hayward Super pumps come with two different motors.

The "golden" colored Hayward motor usually has ( 2 ) 6203 bearings.

You also have the replacement and sometimes Leslie's "black" painted motor that can require ( 1 ) 6304 for the front and ( 1 ) 6203 for the rear bearing.

Sorry about not covering that in the video.

Please feel free to ask questions and I will happily respond

    Joseph

  • Joe is the guy in the video and he is one of the top pump repair guys in the business. We have known him for at least 15 years. Robert is learning very well and is being trained by the best. We hope you all enjoy watching their pump repair video series and Pool and Spa TV thanks them so much for their willingness to share their knowledge with all you you-tubers. Thanks for watching ! Dan

  • 1 hp, 11/2 hp an 2 hp are the same procedure

  • Since doing the video, I have now been told that that the procedure is, in fact, the same for all those HP's. Thanks for watching ! Jeff

  • That sure looked like a 1.5 hp rotor to me.. bada bing

  • Well, I'm just the editor, so they told me it was a 1 HP, and Joe makes mention in the video about it being a 1 HP, so that's what I assumed it was. Thanks for watching ! Jeff

  • @poolandspamoose Yes sir - each motor has 4 through bolts, 2 bearings, 1 mechanic seal, and off course you need the bearing puller and so on ;)

  • @josechevyrojas Yes - That is 100% correct, Just sometimes they require different bearings, See my comment above ;)
