This was very well-done. Kansas rocks no matter how young or old they are!!!

What about the Bonus track? :P I wanna live in a geodesic dome!

Robbie is one of those guys that looks better as he got older. He certainly learned how to make his hair look LESS wild. His voice stayed incredible.

Completely agree. Sounds like the Kansas of old. Great song!

Amazing live version of an amazing song! Somehow I missed what this song was about the first couple of times I listened to the CD. Talk about a facepalm moment -- D'OH! Now, I can't hear this song without getting choked up. Also loved the way they did PTGT and FFWF in this show, too! And I think the fact that they did this one in this show should also put to rest the notion that Walsh or anyone else in the band ever "had a problem" with the Christianity in Livgren's lyrics....

Best K Song on, 'Somewhere to Elsewhere' *

Distant Vision video from the same concert shoot was an added item on the enhanced release of (I think) Device-Voice-Drum - CD version. I would check but I seem to have grown a habit of losing my Kansas CD's. Dang!
Masque, D-V-D (CD), King biscuit, In the spirit of things, Always never the same and Disc one from the 2-disc box set have all gone. [sigh...] Pretty much all else is on my itunes tho.

somewhere to elsewhere was an example, that it still could work between kerry and steve.

I saw these guys in 1999 in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. How cool is this: They pulled up in a van pulling a uHaul trailer, humped their own equipment on and off stage, and kicked ass!!!! The saddest part was that I was working that night, right at the backstage area, and got to ride the service elevator with Dave Hope and Steve Walsh. They were just humble, cool, regular dudes. The venue only held about 1,500, and had only sold about 800 tickets. But, they were just happy to be playing.
In case you bought the DVD and this song was missing... Incidently, DVD really stood for "Distant Vision Devoid"
