Whatever you think of the media, the issues with Governor Palin have nothing to do with her gender, nothing to do with her family. She is presently under investigation for Executive Abuse of Power, and has hidden 1,100 emails from public release. She's sounding more and more like Bush every day.

Moreover, Governor Palin has been hidden from the public-- more specifically, from the media. This is unprecedented in Presidential politics. How can we believe she is ready to be President, if necessary, on Day 1, when here on Day 13, she's still not ready to even TALK to the press? Right now, Karl Rove and his apprentice, Steve Schmidt, are running Senator McCain's campaign, and they have Governor Palin sequestered away, being tutored by aides of President Bush, to learn all the talking points that they want her to recite.

And... how would that relate to Senator McCain's claim that Governor Palin did not use earmarks as a governor, when in fact Governor Palin's employment of lobbyists, and her requests for $256 million in earmarks--- the most of any governor--- and ten times the amount of earmark spending per capita brought to Illinois by Senator Obama's?

Why don't American's get it? How in the world could they vote for John McSame and Sarah PaLIEN? Are they proud of his failures and lies or do they just ignore it all and believe they are the only ones who can mend the destruction to this country?

According to the Citzens Against Gov't Waste they scored the candidates with 100 being the best score, 0 being the worst, Obama has a rating of 18, McCain has a rating of 88. You have to ask yourself if this is the change we want in Washington.

I usually shrug when movie stars make political commentary but since he's speaking as "every man" and he's publicizing my fears, I'm for it.  I too am dumbfounded that more people aren't outraged at McCain's pick. He's a man desperate to grab the golden ring before the ride's over and he's showing a deplorable lack of regard for the future of Americans if he dies in office. President Palin?!?! - against stupidity the gods themselves contend in vain.
