C'mon guys. Katanas and European longswords were made by different cultures, with different fighting styles and different needs from their swords, and in different time periods. Fighting over it is stupid and it's like comparing apples and oranges.

    Dolan plz.

I absolutely love swords. I don't know what it is really, but I am fascinated by them.

I have had a lot of hobbies but nothing comes close to by liking for swords. I've bought several albions, the vigil the steward and the crecy. It's hard to put them down.

I love swords - and Albion swords in particular - but the narrative of this clip make me sick

The handle is too short. Little space for agile move.

I use my swords for cutting. If I spent $2,000 on one sword I'm afraid I wouldn't.

You get what you pay for. Of those three alternatives, Valiant Armory would be the only one I would consider besides Albion since one of the designers was the man who made my custom scabbard for my Albion sword (and it was about the same price for both!). Reading reviews, Darksword doesn't hot peen their swords and Legacy Arms looks rather crappy.

My Albion sword is perfectly balanced, solidly constructed, clean finished, and very sharp. You get what you pay for.

Darksword Armory, Legacy Arms, and Valiant Armory all hand forge their blades and they don't cost near as much as Albions which are not hand forged, apparently. I've seen videos of people chopping down trees with Darksword Armory swords and Legacy Arms says that their swords can withstand blade-on-blade contact. So I cannot justify paying that much for one sword if I can 3 or 4 for the same price, with scabbards.
