Tempe's "Twin Towers" tell the tragic tale of what happens when high rolling investors focus on "location" to the exclusion of "timing." Just a couple of miles to the south, we see an older Tempe tract where both essentials of real estate value are coming together to create a gold mine. Don't believe either the Pollyannas or the doomsayers when they tell you about real estate. There is both trouble and treasure out there. Fortune favors realists.

  • I liked this video and the Dead Malls one. Would you be able to do an update on the locations you filmed in 2009 and see if they're doing better or worse than before? Thanks!

  • @photopuppet Give me about 3 weeks and I'll do that. One is better (in a way,) and I think the other is worse than ever.

  • they will be ocupied when the gov. starts rounding up all sububs and country people off their properties and placong them in the cities to better manage the people (zombies).

  • @misterpolitico Well, if they come to "round up" me, I'd like to reserve one of the penthouse units. :-) Latest news is that another bunch of investors bought up the towers, but they don't plan to re-sell them right now...they're gonna rent em.

  • Thanks Diana,

I'm going to look to you as a source of inspiration and awe.

  • Another great video. This is becoming more common around the US. China also has it's share of empty buildings.

  • 1:06 .. HA!

  • who wants to live in such a place anyway?

  • @misterpolitico. Hi, my thoughts exactly.

In Ireland we have a glut of overbuilt empty hotels kept open by tax breaks.Ireland is in serious financial trouble.

I said to myself "Thats where people who cant pay their mortgages in 3yrs time will end up under the hotel camera security systems and hotel cerfews.NWO master stroke!

    Cheers!
