MFactory gears 1

I've had some requests for some videos of the new setup, so I finally went out and took a couple. The car is a 2002 WRX running a VF34 at about 19psi, and of course supporting mods. The videos are centered around the MFactory 1-4 set (stock 5th) that I finally got installed. Enjoy the videos!

This first video is just me taking it not too easy, but not real hard either. I start up in 1st and work my way through the gears until I hit the massive 4-5 drop.

Haha, they're surprisingly loud for helical gears. I love the sound, I love the ratios, and I love that they're handling my setup so well.

Its been a while, had some problems and finally got it back up to racing condition. Now its time to go and break it again! (And you can be sure I'll have it on video!)

I went through a couple sets of these, and ended up with a third set, once again warrantied by MFactory. MFactory has been great about all of this. The second time the gears broke, I took the transmission to Andrewtech, and they found that the transmission wasn't assembled properly--the gears didn't stand a chance. I can only assume the same applied the first time they broke.

Needless to say, nobody but Andrewtech will ever touch my transmission again.

They really arent kidding when they say close ratio are they, lol. Thats a huge rpm drop. Did you ever swap these out for ppgs? I remember you saying something about breaking these
