  • When Freddie talks about Bohemian Rhapsody this is an example of the genius gift Freddie had. This is the same gift Mozart had. Freddie said that people in the studio thought he was crazy but he had it (the music) in his head. Things were going on in his mind that regular people can't comprehend. This is the genius part. This gift is something that can't be learned, it's something you are born with.

  • Never, ever again. The likes of this kind of musical brilliance and ecstatically pure song is over my friends. No don't kill yourself. Maybe he'll be playing on the other side.

  • I just want to give him a big big hug in that fitted shirt he's got on.... :)

  • I remember this interview from Friday Night Videos. I had a copy of it until I got rid of all 12+ video tapes of music videos last year. So happy to have found it. :-D

  • wait for it...the reason Queen died in the states is simple,,,,MTV....now Im sure youre thinkin they made good videos....dont matter...THE WORKS was their first album on Capitols Records....while they were in court with Elektra...Elektra was a division of WARNER BROS...guess who owned MTV?....keep in mind while Culture Club was in heavy rotation on MTV, Queen was banned for dressing in drag.....so yeah...MTV was eatin shoe leather at Live Aid...cuz all they did was hype a possible LZ reunion.

  • @Bombeni LOL!!! I hope so. :)

  • He smoked a lot but still had a wonderful voice!!

  • How ironic, they recorded 'The Works' album in LA, and afterwards they died a death in the States and didn't tour there again. That's what happens when you try to please folk after going all funky.

  • Freddie looks so good in this interview.
