God has no control over humanity. Humanity has free will, it's how we are designed in the eyes of religion. I don't believe in religion but I can understand when Onision is completely making stupid points against it when there are far better point to go against religion.

@SpikedYum An interesting argument but a mother doesn't have the ultimate control that god has so I don't think it's the best analogy. It's still a fair point though I believe. I don't really remember the arguments in this video but I just didn't like the whole "I could do X but won't demonstrate my ability to do so"
Also, the whole free will yet fate idea is ridiculous in Christianity but that's a whole other tangent.

Also. The part that he says that if you think God saved you then you think your special is just stupid. Usually when people say that "God saved them" is when they have avoided death due to circumstance and random interuptions that would of saved them. Random acts of the enviroment that stop people from getting a negative deed on them is what they mean by God saving them. Humans still have their free will and will still do negative things. God would have no control over a human.

I'm not religious but I'm going to state this from a religious persons point of view.
God created man with free will. To say that God is responsible for rapings, murders, and other crimes is basically the same as saying that the mother is responsible for the son doing bad things, simply because she gave him the free will to be his own person.
The part when he says people give up faith when something bad happens to them is just moronic. Only teens do that.
