@JT2FIT No goal is more important post-workout than replenishing glycogen stores, which consuming tons of fat impedes. So, yeah, there is something wrong with it.
@elgilicious It ALL depends on the goal of the post workout meal. I agree but what they practice is a different theory. There's nothing wrong with it though. Gluconeogenesis is the pathway the get energy from.
These guys dont know post workout nutrition. Post workout, your body will be low in glycogen, or carbs stored in the muscles, so your body will harvest muscle to convert the protein inside to glycogen. If you give it glucose, however, it will instead convert that to glycogen. Fat slows down the absorption of carbs such as glucose, so the post workout meal should be devoid of it, not full of it.
