Sthotrum Bhramarambhika has been created in honour of the Shakti during this Dasara or Navarathri festival.

It is interesting to note that the Hindu visualization of 'Saraswati' the consort of Lord Bramah, the creator is depicted as strumming a veena. The white saree is also significant as it corresponds to light.

The current particle physics latest theories are based on such vibrations by one dimensional strings. This is called the string theory which was constructed to unify all the forces of nature into a single explanation. The gravitational force being the weakest was otherwise hard to explain with quantum mechanics that have been previously used to explain the strong and weak interactions within the atom.

For more information look up String Theory and Hidden Dimensions.

  • Beautiful strotram! And I appreciate your scientific approach in realizing the link between science/quantum physics/string theory in equation to viewing the Devi's form as a visual metaphor for such wisdom. Have you read The Siva Sutras by any chance, ritaturner? It's a treatise basically explaining the Big Bang Theory and the breakdown of subatomic energy & matter.
